I just returned home from a number of errands (cruise related, of course) and in amongst the usual bills and junk mail were two lovely bon voyage cards from very dear friends - what a wonderful surprise. Thanks so much to everyone for your emails and well wishes - we are blessed to have such a great group of special people in our lives - makes it all so real now after all the months of planning and talking about it.
On the cruise critic message board today is a notice about the first 'meet and greet' for cruise critic members - and when I went to put the date reminder into my phone, it suddenly hit me that IT IS NEXT WEEK on Thursday morning at 9.00am.
About this time next Wednesday, we will be onboard the ship, sipping our first champagne as we prepare to sail from Sydney!! Bring it on!!
